Personal:Reginald Gaines is honored for his achievements in basketball while a student-athlete at Winston-Salem State University. He was the CIAA Player of the Year in 1980. He was also NAIA District 26 Player of the Year in 1980. He was selected all CIAA in 1978, 1979 and 1980. He was twice named College Division All-America and was the NAIA National Player of the Week during the 1979-1980 season. He currently lives in Greensboro, NC and is employed as a Mental Health Counselor.
