Personal:Danny Moore is honored as an outstanding football player. He is recognized as one of the all-time greats in Ram history as an offensive lineman. He earned All-CIAA honors in 1982, 1983, and 1984. He was selected as a Sheridan Broadcasting Network All-American in 1984 and 1985. He earned the most coveted award bestowed on a Winston-Salem State University football player when he was selected as a Kodak All-American in 1984. In 1985, he received the Most Outstanding Leadership Award given to the top student leader on campus. He was active in various community and civic organizations following his graduation.
