Personal:Linwood Skinner was an All-CIAA selection as a tennis player at Winston-Salem State University. He placed second in the CIAA tournament during the 1972-1973 season and was a letterman for each of his four years. He was an outstanding player who served as an assistant coach during the 1971 and 1972 seasons. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration in 1973. He served on the Recruitment Committee of the Raleigh/Wake Chapter of the WSSU Alumni Association for many years following his graduation.
