Winston-Salem, N.C. - Winston-Salem State University head women's basketball coach, Dee Stokes, announced Wednesday that two student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent on the first day of the late signing period. Stokes announced the commitments of center Elizabeth Maas and guard Shatara Jackson for the Lady Rams' recruiting class of 2008. Story.

Lady Rams Stun South Carolina State, 64-58; Finish Season With Huge Win

ORANGEBURG, SC - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (3-25) scored their biggest win of the season, Thursday evening, when the team took a stunning 64-58 win over the South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs (12-16). The Lady Rams played their best overall game of the season, holding the Lady Bulldogs to just 31.8 percent shooting from their home floor and forcing 17 turnovers. On the offensive side of the ball, the Lady Rams committed just 15 turnovers in the game and shot 35 percent from the field themselves. Story.

Lady Rams Heading to South Carolina State for Season Finale

ORANGEBURG, SC - Ending the 2007-08 season on a high note will be a "tall order" for the Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (2-25) when they head to Orangeburg, SC to take on the South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs (12-15), Thursday evening. The Lady Rams, which feature just two players that are at least six feet tall will have to contend with a South Carolina State squad that boasts five players that are at least six feet tall. Story.
