2004: Marked the third consecutive season that Davis had been a member of the WSSU Lady Rams' softball team...Also a member of the Lady Rams' bowling team that competed for an NCAA National Championship in 2003-04 as she placed third on the team in average and pinfall on the season...Appeared in 28 games for the Lady Rams, starting 27 on the season, ending her streak of consecutive games started at 86...Recorded a batting average of .375 as she collected 33 hits in 88 at-bats with five walks and nine strikeouts...Collected seven extra-base hits, with five doubles and a pair of triples en route to 22 runs batted in...Went .666 in stolen base attempts as she was successful two out of three times...Had a team-high 155 put outs with 19 assists and 14 errors, 9 of them passed balls, for a fielding percentage of .926...Named as the WSSU Softball Co-MVP, an honor she shared with teammate LaKelsha Carney...25th in the CIAA in batting average with a .375...2nd in the CIAA with three sacrifice flies...3rd in the CIAA in put-outs with 135...Named to the CIAA Commissioner's All-Academic First-Team.
2003: Played in 30 games for the Lady Rams, starting 29...Batted .256 with 22 hits in 86 at-bats...Scored 20 runs and walked 12 times...Hit two doubles and batted in 19 runs...Recorded 24 total bases while striking out only six times...Hit by pitches twice...Recorded a team-high 203 put-outs...Had 22 assists...Led the team in fielding percentage (.991) with only two errors...Named the team's Most Valuable Player...Named Rookie of the Year on the Lady Rams' bowling team...Named to the CIAA Championship All-Tournament Team.
2002: Appeared in, and started all 34 games for the Lady Rams in 2002...Registered 21 hits in 94 at-bats, turning in a .223 batting average...Had two doubles, and a triple while batting in 20 runs...Had a slugging percentage of .324...walked 11 times, and struck out only seven times...Committed only 11 errors on the season...Had 197 put-outs and 39 assists...Stole three bases in six attempts (.500)...Had two sacrifice flies...Earned the WSSU Hustle Award...Named First-Team All-CIAA.
Personal: The daughter of Wanzie and Margaret Davis...Born in Detroit, Michigan on December 24th, 1982...Older sister Heather is a pitcher/third baseman on the WSSU Softball team...Double-majoring in business administration and sports management...Graduated from Detroit Renaissance High School in 2001...The most vocal leader on the Rams' roster...Led her High School team to three straight league championships in softball (1997-2000)...Also played small forward on her high school basketball team...Also a member of the Lady Rams bowling team...Lives by the motto "With love in your heart, with faith in your soul and trust in the Lord, you can overcome anything"...Most often seen with roommate and teammate Alexis Portlock, teammate Toyia Vaughan and teammate and sister Heather Davis...Beat cancer her junior year in high school.
