2006: Dianna had a solid first season with Lady Rams softball ... She played in 19 games with 17 starts on a talented roster last season ... Posted a .180 batting average with nine hits in 50 at bats ... Added eight runs batted in with one triple ... Had a .895 fielding percentage with13 putouts and four assists.

Personal: While Dianna has been cheering ever since she was three years old, this will be her first season as a Varsity Cheerleader for WSSU. Throughout her experience as a cheerleader, she has been selected as captain several times and has received numerous honors including MVP and most spirited cheerleader accolades. On campus, however, Dianna is very involved. She participates in the Honors Program, Ragin' Rams, University Choir (2004-2005), has served as Miss Rams Commons (freshman year) and studied abroad in Mexico this past summer. This Business Management major spends most of her spare time in the WSSU Writing Center serving as an English tutor. Dianna, a dean's list honoree, is a Chancellor's Scholarship recipient and the daughter of proud parents, Steve and Pennie Sanders.
