Heading into Tuesday's games, the Lady Rams are batting .365 as a team and have already scored 105 runs this season. The squad is averaging 5.5 runs per game this season and will look to raise that average against a UMES squad that has allowed 72 runs this season and has scored just 16 runs. WSSU junior infielder Kayla Woodbury has led the way for the Lady Rams this season with a .585 batting average this season and 15 RBI. She is currently tied for the team lead in home runs and holds the team lead in triples (3), doubles (3).
Across the field, the Lady Rams will face a UMES team that has been struggling at the start of the season with a 1-7 record, but scored 14 of their runs coming in a 14-4 win over Coppin State in the Lady Bulldog Classic Softball Tournament. The team's only other two runs of the season came against
