Bethune-Cookman Women Cruise Past Lady Rams Tennis 7-0 :: Rain-soaked weekend ends with a loss for the Lady Rams

ORANGEBURG, SC - The Bethune-Cookman University Lady Wildcats downed the Lady Rams tennis team on Sunday morning by the score of 7-0 in women's tennis action from Orangeburg, S.C. as the two teams beat out scattered showers to complete a one hour and 40 minute non-conference match that put the finishing touches on a three-day rain-soaked event.

The Lady Rams dropped all seven points on the day as they fell in defeat in six singles matches and dropped the doubles point as the Wildcats swept a trio of doubles matches.

The loss drops the Lady Rams to 1-11 overall while the Lady Wildcats improved to 3-1 overall with the win.

WSSU returns to action on Saturday, Mar. 1 at 1:00 pm as they face the University of North Carolina-Asheville in Asheville, NC.
